Business Overview
Sandhurst Rest Home is a family run rest home for the elderly, based in East Sussex. They had the same logo and a basic website for many years. In order to reach new potential residents, they were in desperate need of a rebrand and a new marketing strategy.

Designing and Developing the Website
The original Sandhurst Rest Home website was very basic, lacking important information and user functionality. When building the new website, we ensured that it was fully responsive for mobile devices. It was also important to provide all the necessary information for potential residents and their families. The new website is the perfect place to showcase the rooms available . With easy-to-use contact forms and bold buttons, the website caters for all ages and abilities when it comes to navigating a website.
Continuous Updates
As Sandhurst’s room availabilities change every so often, it is important that at Scorpio Digital, we ensure the correct rooms are showing as available. This allows us to show new residents the room prior to their visit, meaning we are able to attract new leads quicker for the rest home. This is important to the growth of the business as empty rooms can be costly.
Content Copywriting and SEO
To help increase customer engagement we used the existing content on the old website, rewrote it and added new content. After composing original content, answering potential questions, we created an SEO strategy. This consisted of researching keywords that are effective in East Sussex, particularly Bexhill, regarding rest homes. Once finding popular keywords, we optimised each page to rank on Google and other search engines for these keywords. This has boosted the volume of monthly traffic and incoming contact forms from the website
Logo Design
Sandhurst Rest Home’s previous logo was simple but outdated. Considering a new website was being made, the logo didn’t fit a modern website. At Scorpio Digital, we decided to create a logo as a surprise for Simon. He was happy with a full redesign and therefore the new logo received full approval.
The idea behind the logo was to use elegant text, along with a complimentary colour scheme. The use of the deep purple along with the turquoise gives a vibrant, happy feel to the logo. This is reflective of the atmosphere at Sandhurst.

Social Media Account Setup and Management
Sandhurst Rest Home had not yet stepped into the world of social media and as a results, were missing out on a whole new audience. So, we set up a Facebook page as this was the best platform for Sandhurst to reach the highest quality of traffic and direct them to either the website, or to make contact directly.
