Independent Worthing reached out to us with an exciting request for their latest advertising campaign. The opportunity arose when the iconic Dome Cinema in Worthing offered Independent Worthing the chance to feature a still image ad on their cinema screens before the commencement of each film. Understanding the power of cinema’s captive audience, Independent Worthing wanted to convey a straightforward yet compelling message about joining their community. They recognised that our expertise in creative content could help them make a lasting impact on the big screen, promoting their mission of fostering local support and collaboration within Worthing’s vibrant independent business scene.

Cinema Ad Design
Our primary objective was to effectively convey the intended message and prompt viewers to take action within a fleeting moment, given that the ad consisted of a single image. To make a significant impact in a cinema environment where most content tends to be dark, we opted for a vibrant colour scheme, ensuring that we remained faithful to Independent Worthing’s brand palette.
Furthermore, we aimed to emphasise the affordability of membership, which would resonate with Worthing’s residents, showcasing the nominal fee in relation to the multitude of benefits it offered. To engage viewers effectively, we utilised a creative call to action strategy. Recognising that many people use their phones just before a film begins, we integrated a QR code into the ad, enabling them to sign up instantly and seamlessly before the movie commenced.
